Oceania Cruises Embarkation Changes and Sailing Date Change Policy
Updated October 5, 2020 - The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has issued an extended “no-sail” order for cruise ships operating out of U.S. ports that will remain in effect through Oct 31, 2020. This supersedes previous suspension of operations notices.
At Oceania Cruises, the health, safety and well-being of guests, crew and the they visit has always been and remains their highest priority. Given the continued global efforts to combat the spread of the global COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, we are extending our pause in operations to include all voyages with embarkation dates from November 1 through November 30, 2020 for Marina, Riviera, Regatta, Nautica and Sirena. Insignia’s November through April voyage departures were cancelled in August.
To make up for the inconvenience of this suspension, guests who are currently booked on voyage departures noted above that are paid in full with cash funds (credit card, check, bank wire) will automatically receive a Future Cruise Credit worth 125% of the cruise fare paid. This is their way of providing even more value to loyal guests to cruise with them at a later date. This Future Cruise Credit will be issued automatically and may be applied to any voyage on Oceania Cruises anywhere in the world through December 31, 2022 that is booked by September 2, 2021.
If your reservation is under deposit with cash funds (credit card, check, bank wire) and does not have full and final payment applied, you will automatically receive a full (100%) refund of all funds that have been applied to your reservation.
If your reservation has been deposited or paid in full utilizing a previously issued Future Cruise Credit, your Future Cruise Credit will be re-issued for the amount that was applied. Future Cruise Credits are not redeemable for cash refunds.
If you wish to book a similar or identical itinerary for 2021 you’ll receive even greater value as all of these voyages are part of their Ultimate Sale which features major price reductions. You can reserve the dream voyage of your choosing with total peace of mind and confidence knowing that all bookings made through October 31, 2020 for sailings through October 31, 2021 will be covered by their Travelers Assurance Program. Should you need to cancel, for any reason, you will receive 100% of the dollar value of your cruise fare back in a Future Cruise Credit if you cancel your cruise at least 15 days prior to the departure date. You will also receive the reassurance of knowing every sailing is covered by our Best Price Guarantee. Should a better public promotion or price become available, up to the date of sailing, you may take advantage of it.
Future Cruise Credits for reservations that were paid in full will automatically be processed to your Oceania Club profile after September 9, 2020 and may be applied to any voyage on Oceania Cruises anywhere in the world through December 31, 2022.
Ancillary items and packages, etc. purchased through us will be automatically refunded.
Any travel protection purchased through us will also be refunded.
Guests who have previously opted to cancel under the Travelers Assurance Program do not qualify for this offer.
For guests who prefer to forfeit the higher value of the 125% Future Cruise Credit, a lower value full refund option is available.
Refunds in lieu of Future Cruise Credits, please allow up to 60 days for refunds to be processed.
