Norwegian Cruise Line Embarkation Changes and Sailing Date Change Policy

Updated March 30, 2020 - Please note that this information is updated regularly and adapts as the situation evolves.

*Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. (which operates the Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises brands) has extended the decision to voluntarily suspend cruise voyages, now including all sailings through May 10, 2020. This temporary suspension comes after collaboration with federal officials and is aimed at contributing to efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19 and covers voyages with embarkation dates from March 13 to May 10, 2020. They plan to commence cruise operations with embarkations beginning May 11, 2020.

Guests on voyages that are underway will conclude and guests will be disembarked as soon as possible and assisted with travel arrangements.

Guests who are currently booked on voyages with embarkation dates from March 13 to April 11, 2020 on Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises or Regent Seven Seas Cruises are asked to contact their vacation planner or the cruise line for more information. All guests on impacted voyages will receive a 125% refund of the fare paid in the form of a future cruise credit, which can be applied toward any future cruise through December 31, 2022. For guests who wish to not avail themselves of the 125% future cruise credit, a 100% refund of the fare paid will be reimbursed to the original form of payment within 90 days of guests’ request.

Please note, the below was communicated to all booked guests and travel partners sailing from 3/16/2020 through 4/6/2020. We will continue to require this on a rolling 30-day basis until further notice.

To help ensure the safety and well-being of all guests and crew worldwide, effective immediately, all guests who are 70 years of age and older must provide a Certificate of Medical Fitness to Travel form prior to embarkation.

This easy-to-complete form must be signed by a licensed medical professional and be dated no more than seven days prior to the date of embarkation or seven days prior to the start of a guest’s travels if the guest is traveling for more than seven days before a voyage. You can find the form here.

For all new and existing individual and group bookings that embark from March 10, 2020 through and including September 30, 2020:

Peace of Mind Policy:

- Guests can cancel up until 48 hours prior to vacation start date. Cancelled reservations that occur prior to 48 hours to vacation date will receive a 100% future cruise credit (FCC) to be used for ANY Norwegian sailing embarking on or before December 31, 2022.

- Vacation start date includes any pre-hotel or Cruise Tour packages booked through Norwegian.
