A PCR and NAAT Test Service has been implemented in our Shielded Vacations program to ensure guests a smooth journey home. Guests who stay at Atelier and Estudio Playa Mujeres may request the test under the following criteria:

Appointments:

• The service is provided by an external laboratory on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 10:00am – 12:00pm
• Days and hours, as well as appointments requests can be scheduled on arrival via the Concierge desk.
• If guests’ flights are outside of these times, the concierge will contact the laboratory to make an appointment, which may occur an additional charge.
• Clients must speak with concierge to arrange appointments as all services are provided by an external laboratory.

Clients must request their test max 3 days in advance.

• In compliance with international regulations and according to the country of origin, guests must request their laboratories at least 3 days prior to their return flight.
• Guests staying at Oleo Cancun Playa can request this service with a prebooked appointment or visit the Concierge desk.

Procedure:

• Samples are collected in a designated area with the hotels premises to prevent guests having to leave the hotel.
• The results will be delivered via email 24 hours after the sample collection.

Costs:

• Two NAAT Tests will be included at no cost, per room, per stay for any guests who country accepts a NAAT test
• PCR tests will have an additional cost to the guests.
• If occupancy is more than 2 per room, additional guests will need to pay the applicable fee.
• Costs can vary and will be around $80-$150 per person.
• The cost is per person and detailed information can be requested via the Concierge desk. All major credit cards and cash will be accepted.

Results:

• If guests test positive, Atelier will provide a COMPLIMENTARY isolation stay of up to 14 days for the guest who tested positive, according to the current action plan of the resort.
• They will be moved to an isolation area.
• Guests in isolation will be able to obtain 24/7 room service. (alcohol will not be permitted)
• They will not be permitted in public areas.
• A follow up test will be required 6 days later and then every 3 days until it comes back negative.
• The cost for these additional tests will be approx. $80.
• Once testing negative, they will receive a letter from the lab with their results, showing they are ok to travel. (additional costs for letter may apply)
• Any guest who did not test positive but wants to remain in resort, will be allocated their own room and will be charged a rate locally.
